Civil aviation industry develops rapidly in Turkey and around the world. New airports have been started and new aircrafts have been manufactured and operated. Therefore, the countries require the organisations, businesses and institutes that are in service in civil aviation to reorganise sufficiently and efficiently appropriate for recent conditions through the coordination of the civil aviation authority. Furthermore, the need for the technical employees that are well-trained, have the practical and technical knowledge in their domains, keep up with the development of the technology and are aware of the developments and innovations.
The aim of the programmes in Ankara Aeronautical Vocational School of Higher Education is to raise intermediate staff that fulfil the need of the demands of the industry and the requirements of the customers, technically and theoretically well-trained, speak foreign languages, think analytically, have aviation discipline and can contribute to the development of civil aviation industry, and is to raise employees for the Turkish Civil Aviation Industry.
The graduates of the programmes of Ankara Aeronautical Vocational School of Higher Education both can work in public and private sector and can work in organisations operating in aviation industry abroad thanks to the intensive foreign language education. Furthermore, the graduates can transfer to the undergraduate programs that have similar contents with the associate degrees only when they succeed.
